Natural. I'm perfectly ordinary. I have spoken with the Queen in court briefly. The exchange was polite.

Have you had particular difficulty being magical?

Wonderful. Two magical folk may cause a bit more attention than is ideal, so I wanted to be certain. Though if I may, out of curiosity, how did Her Majesty strike you in your exchange? I did not want to overstep any bounds by approaching her, but I admittedly curious about her.

Nothing overt, which is the best I can hope for, all things considered. I have certainly caught a hungry gaze or two, but it does not bother me too terribly.

Occupied. Not overly cautious, but certainly not one to waste time. It's hard to say anything of her manners before or after given how briefly we see her.

A focused ruler, in that case. Objectively speaking, that is certainly better than an alternative, otherwise her reign would not be so long-lasting.

Thank you for your concern, in any case. I would hardly underestimate the Araneans, since they are fearsome in their own right, but in truth, they would find me a difficult meal regardless. But I would prefer not to demonstrate that if at all possible. I much prefer quieter ways of influence, hence my interest here in attending court more readily.

I think that's a wise tactic. Many of us enter the fray impulsively and press our luck-- it's become a daily occurrence. I myself am guilty of that.

Getting around so attentively is certainly its own art form.
